BELIEVE.
Our mission, values, and beliefs shape who we are, how we follow Jesus, and how we serve the people around us.
KNOWING. LOVING.
SERVING. REACHING.
Everything we do at Concord strives toward these four things. They shape the way we worship, teach, care for one another, serve our community, and share the good news of Jesus.
KNOWING
Our teaching and preaching are grounded in Scripture and designed to equip Christ's followers with the kind of knowledge that brings heart change and cultural transformation.
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.
LOVING
We believe that because of the greatest display of love, God sacrificing His Son to redeem sinners, we are called to love God and love others. We devote ourselves to lives of love and service in Christ.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
SERVING
The Church is a living body. We celebrate the different gifts God gives His people and believe each person has a role in serving others, strengthening the Church, and bringing glory to God.
Christ gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
REACHING
Christians are called to share the good news of Jesus. We are committed to taking the Gospel beyond the walls of Concord Community and helping more people come to know Christ as Lord and Savior.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
WHAT WE
BELIEVE.
These statements summarize several of the foundational Christian beliefs that shape our faith and life together.
ONE GOD
There is one God who we know as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
SCRIPTURE
The Bible is fully given by God in order to lead us to faith and Christian living.
HUMANITY
We are born with a sinful nature and are in need of God's saving grace.
JESUS CHRIST
Jesus died for all mankind.
GRACE + SANCTIFICATION
Through God's grace we can be both saved and sanctified.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit in us is the evidence of God's work.
CHRIST'S RETURN
The Lord will return to us and there will be a final judgment.

HOLINESS.
The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian denomination in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition.
Concord Community Church is part of the global Church of the Nazarene and a member of the MidSouth Nazarene District.
Our Wesleyan-Holiness heritage emphasizes the grace of God that forgives us, transforms us, and calls us to lives shaped by love for God and love for others.
